Week 4 TASKS
Create a list of instructions to explain how to catch a
dream. Make sure each step starts with a
verb. Create or draw a glass jar with
the best dream that you have caught.
Share it with the class and take a photo for the blog!
Create your own Frobscottle drink. List the ingredients and side effects people
should be aware of if they drink it and include this on the label of the
bottle. Interview someone who has tasted it to get their reaction and post it to the blog.
Create a 3D model of dream country. Take a photo of your finished creation and
use skitch to label the different parts of your photo before you upload it to
the blog.

WEEK 1 Question for Chapter 3; The Snatch
- How does the Giant's hand move when he snatches her from the dormitory? What language features has the author used to give you this impression?
- Share five fabulous verbs that describe movement in this chapter.
- What does Sophie think will happen when they reach the giant's home? Do you agree or disagree? Explain why you think this.

- What had made Sophie frightened? How would you feel if you saw something four times as tall as a human? Share a time when you have been frozen with fright.

- Describe a memoir of your own about the night. It could be a poem or a short description about things you can see, hear and feel.
- Create a picture of yourself being carried by a giant! Consider using Pizap to green screen yourself in gigantic hands or similar.
- Create 10 Kahoot quiz questions about the story so far. Remember to give 4 possible answers for each question. Add to these as the story continues.

THE BFG By Roald Dahl
During Term 3 we will be reading The BFG and sharing our ideas and opinions online. By the end of the term you will have read the entire book and have talked, thought and shared lots of ideas about the book with other children. This will make watching the movie so much more enjoyable!
